Colour Run Raises Record-Breaking £6,451 for MND Association

Our annual Colour Run took place at Carleton High School last week and it was our most exciting and successful event yet, raising an incredible £6,451 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association – the highest amount our school has ever raised for the charity. A total of 340 students from Years 8, 9 and 10 took part in the event, bringing enthusiasm, energy and community spirit every step of the way. Carleton’s Candy Canes – Business Builder Challenge

In November, seven students from Carleton High School participated in a business pitch to raise funds for the Prince of Wales Hospice. The pitch was part of the Hospice’s Business Builder Challenge, and the students had to present their business idea to a panel of five local business experts, four members of the Prince of Wales Trust team, and two Carleton High School staff members. The students pitched the idea of selling Christmas Candy Cones and at the end of her pitch, Karen Horner from Handelsbanken, expressed her support and agreed to help bring the idea to life.
